I think being auto actually helps (for the Lexarse). Toyota autos are quite clever... and very affective at transferring bulk HP to the road without the rear end trying to go faster than the front. :rolla: I did a little experiment in the Chaser not long ago... bypassed the AT ECU to see if I was losing any power through shifts. I was... but dear god... with the AT intellegence turned off it was chirps and tyresmoke. :hmm: A lot of the mega HP Supra guys in Japan are going auto now for exactly that reason.
