beerhead Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 Plus 30 will have your rims rubbing on the struts. That's a FWD offset. My old +20's needed a 7mm spacer as there was only 1mm of space between the rim and the strut. 4 - 12 is ideal on a RWD corolla, +4 may need a light roll of the lip if you run wide rubber. Quote
tbo92 Posted April 23, 2009 Author Report Posted April 23, 2009 4 x 114.3 +27 Rang my local Bob Jane. Thanks all for your imput! someone should compile a list of these :hmm: Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 Considering my 14x7 +8 MA61 wheels sat just about perfect in the KE55 guards, 16x7 + 12 was the closest on the list. Stock offset I think is +20, but that's on super skinny 80's spec wheels Quote
Taz_Rx Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 Considering my 14x7 +8 MA61 wheels sat just about perfect in the KE55 guards, 16x7 + 12 was the closest on the list. Stock offset I think is +20, but that's on super skinny 80's spec wheels exactly..... +20 with a 5.5 imch wheel. Quote
tbo92 Posted April 23, 2009 Author Report Posted April 23, 2009 What would you recomend for a 7" wide? Thanks guys! your knowledge amazes me Quote
styler Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 get whatever gives you the same backspace, a few mm more or less should be okay. +25mm is max track increase. watch scrub radius and steering. Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 i run 15x7.5 +4 on the front on a KE55, sticks past guard even with some slightly stretched 195/50's. and my guards have been "home flared" lol Quote
raffs rolla Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 i just put trx rims on mine and there 15x7 i put are 5mm spacer front and back didnt need to roll my back graud and my back is dropped 2and are half inchs i will put pics up on monday.. Quote
tbo92 Posted April 24, 2009 Author Report Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) Thanks all for your replies, but i think i am more confused now then i was when i started :y: if i purchase http://www.rotawheels.com/images/products/rb_3.jpg Those wheels, in a 16 x 7 4 x 114.3 +25 will they go onto my KE55 4 door sedan with out needing modifications to the car? ;) or will i need spacers / guards rolling etc also what size tyres should i put on these, 195/45/r16 ? (as i wish to keep profile reasonable low, and white wall them.) (or will they need to be more like 205/45/r16??) Thanks heaps! :D i know one of more of you wonderful people will be able to answer that question :P :) Edited April 24, 2009 by tbo92 Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 16 x 7 4 x 114.3 +12 with 195/40/R16 tyres will fit with no guard mods, maybe a slight lip at worst. 16 x 7 4 x 114.3 +4 with same tyres as above will fill gaurds nicely, will require a bit of flare of guards though, not much. Quote
kangaroosa Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 (edited) What would you recomend for a 7" wide? Thanks guys! your knowledge amazes me I used to run 15" x 7" 8P on the front of my KE30 with 195/50/R15 No srubbing issues and the tyres were inside the gaurds. These bumped the front track well over the +25mm limit, so they are gone now. Edited April 25, 2009 by kangaroosa Quote
