LukeAE71 Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Seems you have fixed the issue.... Also think about this... it is a 4k so when you are sliding unless you kick the clutch 4 thousand times mid corner the tyres are going to grip up and when they do it will be like you are losing power. You aren't losing power at all, the engine just can't cope trying to spin the wheels as it does not have the power to do it. The solutions are simple really: 1. Stop sliding on the street 2. Refer to 1 3. Refer to 1 These sorts of threads are really quite dumb. You openly admit to sliding your car (guessing on the street as I have not seen you at Mallala) and you expect a serious response which you are not going to get. This is a fairly mature site where if after searching you ask a mature question related to your car, you will get a mature answer. Plenty of people on here willing to help if you are willing to be sensible and mature. Quote
ke70drolla Posted May 10, 2009 Author Report Posted May 10, 2009 well not quite due to two mates having ke70 which don't have this problem I'm guessing it is something which can be fixed it isnt just "sliding" that makes it happen i just found that when i did a slide it was alot worse..... it happens under normal driving conditions aswell and after looking through all previous threads i havent found an answer. now thinking its a timing problem Quote
