Is there anything i should be aware of when swapping one out in for a better condition one?

Got a KE55 with a worn steering box, and i got the steering box out of a KE30 coupe which I'm sure are the same.

Can i just bolt it in a go, how do i go about centering it to make sure i get the full lock both side?

Just any help would be handy,

Btw I'm using the Idler arm off the 30 so its already attached to the box, that make things easier?

cheers

Dan :D

The centering for lock to lock either side is the controlled by pitman arm which has a groove that means they only go on one way to the steering box. If your wheel alignment is good already you can just throw the new box in. Then just recenter the wheel.
