JJT036 Posted August 9, 2009 Author Report Posted August 9, 2009 Well... Just another update, We got bored today, so we moved The Bitch along the sideway next to Ollie, put them both on angles and a took picture. Enjoy. Cheers, Woz & Josh Quote
JJT036 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Report Posted August 19, 2009 Hey Guys, Just a update, We are putting the project of Ollie on hold for the moment. The reason is because it has been Cold, Wet, and Windy, and because Dad has been really busy between Gym and Work. When the weather is better, keep a lookout on this thread. Cheers, Josh :) Quote
JJT036 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) Hey Fellas - I've got a Huge Update for ya's... In the last week, We bought a few things: On Sunday, we got 2 Ke3x Front Seats in Excellent Condition, and a Dash Fascia, Thanks to TE278U, and on Tuesday Night, we scored ourselves a CRACK FREE Dash Pad, Courtesy of Evan G. Today, we did an "Interior Conversion", which took about 4 hours, including Breaks from Time to Time. I 'spose Pictures do the Talking on this Forum - Here they are... Before, After, and Progress Shots... Before... With the Blue Seats ripped out... (They are now For Sale - $20) Nearly Done... The Finished Product... Our next goal is for me to save up to $1,500 for a Strong Rebuild for the 4K Motor. Dad met this guy at a Servo that does Engine Rebuilds and Tricks them out. He asked him how much it was to Rebuild a 4K Motor. Dad told me that he'll Guarantee, that it will be a Very Quick Motor once this Rebuild is Complete, but that's if I ever find $1,500. :( We hope you Enjoy our Progress !!! Cheers, Woz & Josh :jamie: Edited September 26, 2009 by ewt Quote

seabiscuit Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 First of all, great work on the interior. So much difference. Thanks Evan... The rest of the Dash will eventually get Painted Black. I say leave it and go a 2-tone interior. That would look COOL :jamie: Dad met this guy at a Servo that does Engine Rebuilds and Tricks them out. He bumped into him and asked him how much it was to Rebuild a 4K Motor. Dad told me that he'll Guarantee, that it will be a Very Quick Motor once this Rebuild is Complete, but that's if Josh ever finds $1,500. :( I'd take that offer up, Josh! That's a very decent price for a worked rebuild. I was quoted just $1200 for a rings and bearings reco (as opposed to new pistons etc. at $1800). For me, I'd have to go down the 5k path! :) You could bore out the 4k and put 5k pistons in (as a 5k is essentially a bored out 4k), but would probably be looking at a bit more for new pistons. Quote

Thanks Seabiscuit. Dad said that it'll look better with a Black Dash, Although we could Probably go a White Underneath. The guy said to my Dad, Full 4k Everything, Tricked Out, and It will be a Very Quick Car for it's Weight. I reckon it'll make about 80-90Rwkw. Then when I'm Fully Licensed, I'll throw in a SC14 Supercharger !!! Cheers, Josh :( Quote
SLO-030 Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Looking good Josh. 80-90RWKW out of a N/A 4K for $1,500? Where do i send my engine? Quote

JJT036 Posted September 27, 2009 Author Report Posted September 27, 2009 Yeah i smell bullshit sorry :) I was only Estimating how much Power it'll make when it's complete... but first I need to find $1,500 for this progress to be made. Cheers, Josh :) Quote
