I thought I'd do something to show how far Dad and I have come since the Project started.

But, if we get ourselves a 5K, we'll probably go for Top-Mount Twin Carbys, or do an EFI Conversion from a 7K to a 5K.

I like either of them ideas! 5K will be funner because it sounds like it goes harder (a few thousand more RPM's). I'd know haha :S

The 7K has more Torque and that Oomph that I really want, but 5K would be really cool as well, especially with EFI. It's pretty much whichever Motor we get hold of first out of the two.

 

It is a Big Milestone for Me and Dad, considering we've had Ollie on our Block of Land for over 15 months now. But yeah, there still is more to be done, such as the Engine Conversion, and the Interior.

Ollie is now under 3 layers of Tarp up the sideway. It will keep her protected until we make our next lot of progress. ;)

 

We have also bought a VN Berlina to use as a tow-car, but we have put up for sale because we want a Ute instead. Check out the "For Sale Non-Toyota" Section for the Thread.

Well over the last few weeks, we've been saving up some money from Motor Wrecking and Dad's been buying a Couple of new Toys.

 

1. A 3HP Scorpion Air Compressor.

2. An Air Impact Wrench Set.

3. An Engine Crane.

 

 

We are selling our Old Compressor to make room for the New Compressor. Here's the Link: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44229

 

Not much has been done to Ollie progress wise.

 

We're still in hunt for a 5K Motor with EFI or a 7K-E Motor.

We haven't done much to Ollie as far as Progress, but we'll start doing some more Work in the next few weeks.

WE GOT A FREE 4K !!!

 

We got it about 2 or 3 weeks ago in Poppa's Gay Ford Wagon with the Help of my Uncle (Dad's Brother). We got it from a guy in Melton who was wrecking out a Beige Ke70 Sedan and posted somewhere on Rollaclub that he had a free 4K sitting there. So we rang him up and the next Saturday we picked it up.

 

The motor is gonna be a Temporary Fix for the moment, and we'll be chucking it in after Dad get's a Roady on his VS SS Ute he scored on Friday.

 

Before the Conversion goes ahead, we'll rip off the Carby and Exhaust Manifold from this 4K, and put on the Carby and Extractor Manifold from my 4K.
