Crowie55 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 Nice fellas, good to see the colour finally went on well after the earlier incident. Have you got a time frame in which you think the car will be one the road? Cheers, Crowie Quote
JJT036 Posted April 30, 2011 Author Report Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) Nice fellas, good to see the colour finally went on well after the earlier incident. Have you got a time frame in which you think the car will be one the road? Cheers, Crowie Cheers Brad. :y: We don't have a time frame of completion of this beast yet, but it should be around Christmas time, or sometime Next Year. _________________________ More of Today's Progress !! We got the Grille all Painted up and Installed. We also fitted in the Tailights, the Back Bumper :), the "COROLLA" Tailgate Insert (Yes, a Factory Item  ), the Boot Lock, the 1/4 Plastics, the Fuel Filler Dress Ring, the Radio Aerial, the Front Guard Indicators, and we Polished up the Headlights and the Surrounds. :D We also did a MASS clean up of the interior, and the amount of stuff that came out, you wouldn't have believed it fit in the car. So now I can actually have a Passenger ride along, with foot-space. :) After emptying out, we neatly stacked it all back into the Rear, and I put all the small Important Pieces (Door Handles, Console Bracket, Spare Wheel Nuts) in the Glovebox. The Pics will say it all. Pics 1 + 2 are BEFORE the Rear Bumper was fitted: Woz & Josh  Edited April 30, 2011 by ewt Quote

That light in the Side Pic was the Camera's flash (which is a Canon Powershot A630). :) The Wheel Arches will be painted black again. We have a little plan of our own for the Interior, and it's gonna look real killer when that's done, but that's gonna be kept Secret. :D We might start on the Interior after the Exterior is all together, and after we replace the Welsh Plug right under where the Starter Motor is. :) Josh  Edited April 30, 2011 by ewt Quote

Will PM you tomorrow. :bash: During the time between this and the last post, Dad decided to make up a Rego Plate for this Beast. This is a Fake Rego Plate, and No, the real one won't have "The Burnout State" on it. :) Woz & Josh  Edited April 30, 2011 by ewt Quote

daggers57 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 Looks a lot better than when I saw it in person after the spray gun problem. Will look even better when it's all together and polished up. All the best boys. P.S. those guards I got from you are STILL in my boot. Hate not having any spare time. Pete. Quote

Cheers Pete. :y: It really does look good now, especially in the Daylight. I can't even get a Good enough Pic of the Pearls through the Blue. It's one of those Pearl Colours you have to see in Person to see the Pearls in it. :) If there's any other bits you need, just PM us. :) Josh  Quote
JJT036 Posted May 1, 2011 Author Report Posted May 1, 2011 Didn't really do much today. Dad woke up early, and got some Daylight Photo's of Ollie. We also got her started and she is now under the Back Porch and Covered up. The reason is because Mum's VZ Berlina is getting a Major Service (Brakes, Shocks, Engine, Auto), and the Mechanic is going to come up here and do it all Tomorrow. Then later this week (Wednesday or Sat'day), Ollie will go back into the Garage, and we'll pick up work on it, hopefully. :) Pics in the Daylight: The Rego Plate really suits it. :P Woz & Josh  Quote
