Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Nice work! You're not mucking about with this, good to see, keep it up...... Quote
78_7kRolla Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) This thing is a beast! I've looking for one for about 2 years now with no luck. Great to see you and dad are getting stuck into it. If your dad isn't too bad with a welder (which it seems he is) maybe research fitting a 7k. Absolutely love the ideas for the paint, it will look so cool! I also spied that you have extractors on this thing. Upload some pics of the engine when you get a chance and check out the Vic section of the forum. Love to see this on a cruise one day! Cheers. JJT036 Posted May 2, 2009 Author Report Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) Well, Dad and I went to Pick-a-Part again because they had another ke30 just put in there Friday Arvo. We got there at about 9.00 this morning and the L/H Front Guard from the rolla was already pinched  . From the rolla, we only walked away with it's bonnet. There were 2 other ke30s but they both had dents and smacked-in panels. Then we drove everywhere to find Front Guards and a Front Bumper and we found a place on Market Road, Sunshine called Gazzas Auto Wreckers. He had plenty of ke70 stuff and some ke20, ke30 and ke55 parts. We only got a Front Bumper. Then we went to Enzo Wreckers in Sunshine just off the Ring Road and we hit the Jackpot, 2 clean guards  !! He also had brand new in box front panels for Ke20 & ke70. We were going to get a Woodgrain Steering Wheel there but it wasn't Roadworthy. I'll upload more pics tommorow Cheers Josh Edited May 2, 2009 by ewt Quote

Matt. Thanks Matt, Dad said it's time to save up more dollars now, so after we put it back together it goes back outside (mum wants the garage back). But at least it has been fully painted underneath and it would be ready for the panel shop as soon as i get rich $$. We are going to slap in a 5k Engine with a webber carby for now until dad finds a Supercharger for it!! It probably won't see a cruise for a couple of years yet, but with the way the ol man is going, it could be sooner. LOL. Cheers Josh Edited May 2, 2009 by ewt Quote
