RA28GT Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Hey guys what are the chance of finding some jdm style wheels for ke20? ideally I'm after some SSR style meshies, but i want a staggered setup something like 13 x 7 on front and 13 x 9 on rears, has anyone seen anything in a 4x110 bolt pattern? What are my options and where would i hunt down some? Quote
nickyboy Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 i've got a set of 13x7 superlights if your interested... 0 offset though that defeats you wanting staggered. Quote
Tally Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 (edited) 4x110 jap wheels are rare here and even in Japan. But 4x114.3 are dime a dozen. Best is to convert your KE20 to 4x114.3 using ke30/55 items front and rear. There has been heaps of threads on how to do it. for wheels go to buddy parts on marion rd, although he just sold most of the good ones... Edited March 31, 2009 by Tally Quote
LukeAE71 Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 You could look at Performance Wheels but the closest thing they have to jap wheels would be the superlite which is like a Watanabe. They can be drilled to any pattern and come in a range of good offsets and widths. They are locally made too and best of all are brand new!! I would love to see you running 13 x 7 and 13 x 8 Superlites on that KE20. Unfortunately they do not make a x 9 in Superlite. They go 7, 8 and then 10" wide. Quote
RA28GT Posted March 31, 2009 Author Report Posted March 31, 2009 Damn i didnt want to convert to 114.3! Nickyboy do you have a pic of your superlights? Quote

I have been considering the superlight style, i can get the cheaper from my tyer place, although more of a euro look in my opinion. maybe if i just run some 13 x 10 on back with some 195's it will give it that jap look? Time to cut the shit out of the guards! Edited March 31, 2009 by RA28GT Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Damn i didnt want to convert to 114.3! Nickyboy do you have a pic of your superlights? Hit the Mazda forums. Someone will have wheels to fit surely. I don't feel that staggering them will make it handle too great. So what kind of engine are you running that requires 9s to get the power down? Quote

Who said anything about handling? lol I'm not too fussed since its my daily driver, with flipped springs (will be reset soon) it doesnt handle all that great now. I'm running huge 5k power, maybe even 15rwkw! Quote
benzo Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 don't go 13x7 front and 13x9 rear the difference in track is gonna look wak! keep your eyes open on yahoo.co.jp for a set of wheels there was a pair of 13x8 -10ish and 13x9 -15ish watanabes on yahoo.jp a while ago in 4x110pcd I got my eyes on a set of 13x7 0 offset 4x110pcd Watanabes for my KE20 at the moment, which should sit flush as with 165s and stock guards. Cheers, Ben. ps I don't like the look of flares on KE20's at all, the rear is just totally the wrong shape to suit. Quote

Maybe a set of 13 x 7 all round would look better? Maybe it needed a slight pump of the rear guards? What do people thing? Anyone got any pics of some low offset wheels on a ke20? I had a look on yahoo but could only find 114.3 Quote
