drc_ke20 Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 normally 100 thou kms you replace T/belt,so assuming your car has done or just pass 100 thou you replace them. on my 1999 V6 touring camry 120 thou kms is recommended you replace the T/belt, saves you from severe engine damage due to T/belt failure. Trev Posted March 29, 2009 Author Report Posted March 29, 2009 I hate when you sepnd all night searching and then you post it up and you find something, Just found this: Soarer V8 Timing Belt Change Which sez that Toyota recommends it at 160'000km's, I think it will be getting changed long before that.
