noddi85 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 I'm looking into options for my front Suspension setup. Been thinking about custom coilovers but would like to find a better way. I have a pair of sigma lower controll arms, to enable more camber already with the steering rack moded to fit. My shocks are on the bump stops, to be at the same hight as the back and I'm sure this will not do. I have ra40 celica shocks and springs in the back so thats done. Now just the front Suspension problem to fix. Any ideas????? Quote
Budowski Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 Considering how low you have it already you will need short stroke shocks, and if you going to go the shocks then the AE86/T18 ect struts will be needed. Spring choice is next, either low/heavy rate springs or coil over kit with a wide range of spring choice. The kind of height and rate of the spring will be depending on what the car is used for such as Street/daily - firm Street/hills spirited driving - firmer Track days - firmest Springs ect have been widely discussed on here but id check out the tech section and ask the guys on the AE86Drivingclub website as they are AE86/KE70/AE71 mad.
