decoop Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I'm only repeating what scotty(ke355) told me, cos he was contemplating doing an ls1 conversion for his new project. I tend to believe him actually. On the subject of ke355, the guy in qld who bought it apparently got it registered to drive on the street, not sure if that means he got it engineered or not.... Quote
love ke70 Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 ICV you can do it, not under any other laws though speak to an engineer.... Quote

67Rolla-Ken Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 The flux capacitors not the hard part... getting the 1.21 gigawatts to it can be tricky :) Â Can you supply with Mr. Fusion? Quote
chappo12 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 yea the flux capacitor arnt hard to find they made heaps in the 80s. Â yea you will need some big power to ran 1.21 gigawatts to it ill see what i have lying around. Â shouldnt be to hard to make champ Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 yeh if your refering to the block its self... both motors with everything on them, the sr20 is lighter.   So an ls1 block is under 25kgs, no wonder they don't like boost! Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Or an ls1, they're lighter than an sr20. Â Says more about the boat-anchor SR20 than the LS1, really (which also is a boat anchor, just bigger and apparently lighter ) Quote
love ke70 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 LS1 is the new 2JZ Â nuff said. Â but how is this constructive? Â is there still a thread here that is in progress? let it continue if there is Quote

kts350 Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 So an ls1 block is under 25kgs, no wonder they don't like boost! Total Dressed Engine Weight for an Ls1 is Auto. - 457.6 lbs. (208 kg) (Flexplate) and Manual - 497.2 lbs (226 kg) (Pressure Plate and Fly Wheel), not sure exactly how much just the block weighs.. Quote
