Cheers Nichy You havent specified what car you have but i can only assume you have a Ke70 (correct me if i'm wrong) In my opinion it would be a much better option to get the 4ac package for that price as you'll then be going from 1.3 to a 1.6 and as many people have said before "You can't compete with capacity" Besides if you get this setup in there and down the track you have the itch for more power then you can simply bolt in a 4age or ze I hope that helps :y: Quote

nichy Posted March 13, 2009 Author Report Posted March 13, 2009 everything :y: yeh sorry.. ke70 84 model... well thats what is tempting me been able to just slot a 4a motor in later on.... i think i might go the 4ac... thanks mate Quote
Redwarf Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Sounds like the 4AC might be the go. The 4Ac by itself is no real excitement machine, but it'll make a conversion down the road soooo much easier. Quote
nichy Posted March 13, 2009 Author Report Posted March 13, 2009 does it have much over the 4k ? Quote
Roo Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 no not really but when you can pick a 4age for so cheap why bother with a 4ac Quote
nichy Posted March 13, 2009 Author Report Posted March 13, 2009 i don't have the money for a 4ag ATM so a 4c seems a good idea in the meanwhile. get a 5 speed box with it so can sell mine... sell my 4k (lol) so for like 400 bucks i will have ae71 parts so a little newer in my car making it even more reliably and a touch more power. or i will work the 4k as i do love how they rev haha Quote
KE ping it real Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 A stock 4ac should still go better than a 4k with an exhaust and a weber If you through a decent amount of coin at the 4k then it would out perform but i reckon you would need to spend over $1000 to get it there with things like cam grind, head work, elec ignition, weber, extractors, exhaust But if you are going to be keen for a 4age conversion down the track then $500 1s a pretty cheap starting package to get everything you need in the car already When you do want to upgrade, all you will need to do is remove the 4ac, Bolt straight in the 4age, wire up your ecu and upgrade your fuel delivery system the odd minor thing here and there and your away Simple :y: Quote
