mitch4397 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 looking good dude. its like the '30 twin of my '20. f@$k flappers man, to chunky and don't suit the era. Quote
RA28GT Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 looking good dude. its like the '30 twin of my '20. f@$k flappers man, to chunky and don't suit the era. Thats your opinion i think they suit the era quite well, weather it be on 10's, 20's or 30's. Heres a dodgy photoshop nick, i think they look hot. Would have more impact than thin walls, maybe run them with a red pinstripe on the wall too to break up the white? Quote
JiP Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Mate I love what you've done with the wheels. Looks much much better!! Quote
benzo Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 How can you not love the flappers on it? :P flappers, lower rear more +venetians and visor = WIN Cheers, Ben. Quote

Mate I love what you've done with the wheels. Looks much much better!! cheers mate. Quote
smeetsy1 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) All that matters is that the perspectives in that picture are spot !!! aha :P I think twin walls would look good. XD Edited April 28, 2009 by smeetsy1 Quote
mitch4397 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 chunky flapper style. I reckon it looks overcooked on 70s design. my opinion. :P Quote
RA28GT Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 chunky flapper style. I reckon it looks overcooked on 70s design. my opinion. :P How about instead of showing a car thats possibly 40 years older than a corolla with huge 4" flappers show some corollas with 2" flappers as a better indication? Makes more sense right? And lastly a better photoshop: Quote
mitch4397 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) i'm showing something i think they're more suited to. KE10's look sweet with them...yes, but i recon with the coke bottle design of the late 60's can get away with a chunky whitewall. As the chunky styles still relevant in those decades. See huge whitewalls on cars through the late 70's and 80's? Not to say it wont look good nick, regardless of what you do. Just an opinion of mine, no one has to agree with it. i'll stop filling your ride thread now nick :P Edited April 30, 2009 by mitch4397 Quote
