Hiro Protagonist Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Bloody 'ell this thing is on and off again worse than me and my ex missus were... http://www.7tune.com/086a-to-use-new-legacy-base/ I don't think it's off and on, just the media picks up on the faintest rumour and runs with it like gospel...then, when the rumour is shown to be false, they run with the next little tid-bit. Until Toyota and Subaru do a proper press-release saying "this is the car, it will have this and this and this, and goes on sale in so many months time", I won't believe anything without the world's largest grain of salt. orangeLJ Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Its the right line of thought at the moment though, a small-mid sized RWD car with a decent performace package, 5 seats and enough room would sell very well in a better financial climate, and would probably sell well in the current climate (smaller engines, FI, reduction in running costs etc) and toyota really need a new RWD car, they have nothing decent in the line up at the moment and things like the TRD aurion would have sold alot better had they been RWD.
