Jason KE30 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 99% of bodykits on this earth where put here by the devil. Case #1 Quote
dfunkt Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 of all the pics of cars with body kits, you choose a Pikes Peak car.......facepalm *waits for someone to post pics of group C cars* Quote
nickyboy Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) Case #1 .... .... .. group B and C are amazing, i watched a dvd on it ages ago, absolute spastic cars! Edited February 26, 2009 by nickyboy Quote
mitch4397 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 This makes me sorta flacid. Race cars can get away with bizzare spoilers, because they're there to serve a purpose. Nick you seen that ford at Cross road macca's? Big Vom. Quote
Jason KE30 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 .... .... .. group B and C are amazing, i watched a dvd on it ages ago, absolute spastic cars! But look at how badly its made, that's what I was getting at. Ricey cars are usually the ones that are a load of turd. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Jason that bodykit is made to be FUNCTIONAL, not visually appealing. Its obviously an Group B Audi quattro, but with additional aerodynamics for Pikes Peak. >2:04 This is about the only bodykit I would personally have....... :lolcry: Quote
Jason KE30 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Cheers for the info. Didn't think that the bodykit on the audi actually did anything, and still can't believe it actually effects the aerodynamics at all. Can I just say that the female driver in the first vid is farkin hot!! And too right the FD3S bodykit on the rx7's is pure sex :lolcry:. Gotta have the right set of wheels to really set it off though. Quote

Jason Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) Amazingly fins tunnels and air dams DO effect areo dynamics. The profiles have to be aggressive to get the desired down force. ^^ wtf its about about body kits not rolling? Looks pretty doge any way maybe you should have got flares instead. philbey Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Function, not form. Awesome. Go get a copy of Climbdance. If you ever get close to a Ferrari F40, you might even say some of their "bodykit" bits aren't that well made! (Gurney strip on the back edge) Quote
dfunkt Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 there's the link for climbdance. recommended viewing for all. Quote
