Trev Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 After 40 years you would expect them to be making a bit of power. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 After 40 years you would expect them to be making a bit of power. Â Â The Buick V6 of 4 cylinders!! :| Quote
JiP Posted March 5, 2009 Author Report Posted March 5, 2009 How much power does a fork lift need? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 How much power does a fork lift need? Â Not as much as you might think. 5k would drive a hydraulic pump which does all the heavy lifting. Â They are only small forks. Quote
towe001 Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 One of the forks that i use to drive many years ago was powered by datsun, datsun a12 that is. But yeah the 4k powered forks are out there Quote
JiP Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 OMG I just fitted the new genuine tubes and o rings. The o rings are WAY better than the aftermarket ones. You can tell from the feel of them as the aftermarket ones were way too hard. I'm going for a bit of a drive now and I'll see if they'll need gluing down, but doubt it. They fit nice and snugly and don't move. Â Wish me luck!! Quote
Ella Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 howd they go john? Â and how much and from where? Quote

JiP Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Posted March 10, 2009 It was something like $46 for tubes and rings. Not a great deal but way worth it. There are no leaks what so ever... Of oil. Quote
Trev Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Its ok Jon, You know whats next don't you, Oil, Water, Fuel or air? Â (I HOPE TO NOT JINX YOU) Quote
