greenmac80 Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 ok calling on experts. i have almost finished nutting out my wiring loom. but i'm trying to hide all the wiring. so i don't want the fusebox that come with the stock loom. sooo my dilema is.. from what i can inferr is that the alt and the starter and injectors all run off of two relays linked? if this is the case can someone please draw me a diagram of how i can go about getting differetn relays and wiring them together? Kebin[RL] Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 injectors are powered of main ignition relay. starter is triggered from start signal of your ke30, use the trigger in the original engine loom. add a relay to help with voltage drop. the alt needs a battery supply as a reference so it knows how to regulate the charge rate. you don't need any of the 20v fuse box stuff.. use your original ke30 loom to run your lights and body electrical etc. Quote
greenmac80 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Report Posted March 5, 2009 thanks man!! good info yeah basically what i've done is run everything that needs power like 02 sensor injectors ISCV etc to a main relay. this includes power for ecu. then another relay for fuel pumps and another relay for starter. pretty simple once you get your head around not using most of the stock loom. SLO-030 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 WOW, it was that simple ay. and here i was prying apart the 20v relay box with a screwdriver liek a caveman. Quote
