They would definitely suit the car and the paint job.

Go for it if you like it

What size you plannin on going?? Anything bigger than 15's is pretty shitty lookin imo.

I know it seems like I am picking on you since I can't understand why you are going to a 4K, etc however I am still going to give my opinion.

There was a KE70 in Adelaide with drift teks on it and it looked like crap.

And as the above person stated, anything more than a 15" on a KE is too much. I am not even sure that they are made in 15".

My opinion if you are looking for a cheaper wheel option that is BRAND NEW, then you cannot go past Performance Superlights or Challengers. They are period correct, came out in the 80's, and they can make them in offsets that will fill your guards.

If you do some shopping around and wheeling and dealing with Performance Wheels retailers you can get a full set for around the 800 mark and then add tyres. Superlights also come in good weights too for extra dollars so they are not as heavy as everyone seems to make them out to be.

No I am not a Performance Retailer

they look great on cars like 180sx's and cefiro's

not sure about ke70, but there was an ae71 on here that had similar if not same in 16" and it looked really nice

heard bad stuff about driftteks though, heavy and easily breakable, especially if your using them for drift, but thats what ive heard

hay man i am not offended bye ur constructive critisism man i appreciate it at least your justifying your self instead of just sayin errr that looks F#&kn gay

yeah i understand the fact that drift teks look to new for the age of the car but i don't actually mind the look of them but as taz_rx said every body has there own tastes it was only a question thrown around to get abit of feed back on what every body thought and that is exactly what everyone is doing!!!

I appreciate everybody opinions on the matter thank you lads

If you want some slightly more modern jap style wheels for it, have a look at the originals that they are copied off.

You'd be looking for Rota Grids (the knockoffs afaik) or Volk TE37 (the originals afaik) for a similar style thats lightweight. Anything called drift tek must be heaps of shit, Id reckon.

These are the 'originals', as such, these are what you'd be better off with, imho. They look great on racey old cars in bold colours, see the josh young V8 ae86 for clarification, but perhaps not gonna work visually on a fairly streetable older car. Might be a bit of a mismatch. Anything bigger than 16s will be a big fail, both for handling and for looks.
