oke020 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Hey mate how tall are you tyres? do you have issues with the front grabbing the guards when corning over a bump? Quote
RA28GT Posted March 9, 2009 Author Report Posted March 9, 2009 Hey mate how tall are you tyres? do you have issues with the front grabbing the guards when corning over a bump? Real tall acutally, compared to the original 12's that is. I'm not sure of the exact size but running 175/70/14 on front and 195/65/14 on the rear. Any lower and it would scrape, but at the moment I can go to full lock without any problems, bumps don't make much of a difference unless it's a significant bump. Quote
Murd 55 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 canon 400D = Digital SLR, same as scotty from top gear photography uses. =] (I'm such a nerd, lolz) Quote

greenmac80 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 that is wicked!! did you do the door pods yourself? Quote
RA28GT Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Posted March 12, 2009 that is wicked!!did you do the door pods yourself? Yep just some 10mm MDF with a bit of glassing to space out the speaker, since there stupidly deep and wont fit in the door flush by a long way, and then wrapped in white vinyl. Quote
punchy111 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 interior looks sick mate! love the mounted gps! Quote
Jason KE30 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 That interior is sooo sexy. How much do you reckon it cost you all up? What was the most expensive? Quote
RA28GT Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Posted March 12, 2009 That interior is sooo sexy. How much do you reckon it cost you all up? What was the most expensive? Out of the interior? Nothing really I haven't spend anything more than small change for paint, vinyl, glue and wood, thats about it. If you count the stereo the cost of that was through the roof though... Quote
Queen20v Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 That is excellent work. Looking very retro now. Love the colour scheme too. Quote
RA28GT Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Posted March 12, 2009 Ohh forgot to mention the 'holes' in the parcel shelf are for letting bass travel into the cabin much more effectively, they are filled with a thin piece of cloth. Quote
drc_ke20 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 very nice indeed!gives me back the roaring 1920`s music playing in the background :y: ,well done and 10/10 score from me! Quote
orangeLJ Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 This is a wicked little 20! love it. Nice photos too. The rear parcel shelf thing is interesting, not something you see people doing everyday, but aslong as you don't get pulled over, you shouldnt have too much trouble! Quote
