RA28GT Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 I don't get time for the forum for a couple of weeks and come back to THIS!! Troy, it looks awesome. Where did you get that grill. Something tells me you got it for a good price too. Any chance you can help me get a set of those superlights? :D I got the grill from a member called sliesh. Got it at a pretty good price for what it was, it looks nice the colour combination ive done. I can get you a set of those super lites no problems, might not be as cheap as i got them for (it was a steal) but still cheaper than what most people pay. Quote
ke20jacob Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 dude this 20 looks sick love the grill and the superlites look nice as!! Quote

Ive thrown in a picture to show off the new spacers on the rear too! Showing the spaces: Quote

Tally Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Love the contrast in those pics man.. perhaps ease up on the angled photos... in photography they explain that a picture taken on an angle forces the viewer to move his head according to the lines in the photo... Id love to have the second photo as my wallpaper (not big enough hehe) and wthout the angled shot. But great work man and the car is very photogenic hahah Whats next for the beast??? please say 13B BP bahaha Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 how do you not have any scrubbing issues Quote
RA28GT Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 Love the contrast in those pics man.. perhaps ease up on the angled photos... in photography they explain that a picture taken on an angle forces the viewer to move his head according to the lines in the photo... Id love to have the second photo as my wallpaper (not big enough hehe) and wthout the angled shot. But great work man and the car is very photogenic hahah Whats next for the beast??? please say 13B BP bahaha Ha! someone else has noticed my habit of angled shots. Its a bad habit i know, in the case of these photos i have angled the shot to exclude certain things from the photo. Next plans are nothing special, i venturing into business commitments at the moment so i am at a lack of money. Visually I'm having the superlites polished and I'm adding a front lip in the next couple weeks. Mechanically I'm probably just putting in a 5 speed for now to make it a little more practical on the highway everyday. Then in roughly 12months I'm going to put a 4age in her, nothing special but would make it a nice daily driver, a 13BT which would be immensely more fun wouldn't be super practical for my 2 hours of driving a day! how do you not have any scrubbing issues Who says i don't have any scrubbing issues? Being that my springs are flipped (yay) i do scrub on very shape turns (at speed) because of the rear wheels hitting the inner flare. Front no problems. Quote
KE04AG Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Mate your car is super cool! Love the look of it. A very cool budget build. Quote
PMP020 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 this is a superb piece of work. i love looking at it. looking at the last pick 'showing the spacers' now i would normally never suggest this, BUT have u concidered debadging the boot. the Toyota, the Toyoglide and The SE badge removed. maybe photoshop it, see how it will look. just a thought. cheers, scott Quote
Roo Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 looks great, hope mine turns out something like this Quote

If i was keeping the stocker/granny look i would keep them but since shes way off in a different direction it would much cleaner totally debadged and with the strips removed. Quote

I think it suits the car Quote
