philbey Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Somwhere your circuit may be shorting to the body and drawing too much current. As a tempp fix you could stick a higher current fuse in there (10 instead of 5 etc) and I'd go looking for any spots where there's dodgy wiring connections or poor insulation. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 going up fuse size with just slowly burn the harness out, find the problem and fix it properly. Check all your globes, sounds like one is shorting to frame in its holder or a wire is rubbing against frame.. Quote
DearmanKE Posted February 14, 2009 Author Report Posted February 14, 2009 yeah id rather not do the dodgey fix and make the fuseable link my wireing. we're doing electrical at trade school this week, so should be able to sus it out, ill check out my globes tho, thanks for that Quote
philbey Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 yeh, thats why I said temp fix, ie if you need to drive it home/to the workshop etc. Quote
