The wagon will be a daily rig whilst I work on the AE. I pick up that motor off Queen20V next weekend so that is when the real work will start.

I have most other things for the conversion, taking a week off work to finish it then it will be off to be wired up and exhaust made and on the road, yay for me.

Your 70 is going to be hot, those wheels are the best choice for it in terms of period correct styling and offset without all the jdmism to go with it. I'm so over JDM this and JDM that.

Can't wait to see this sedan unfold.

Edit: just noticed that you are replacing wheels, so yeah um talk to me about selling them to me, yeah ok thanks bye

Strut brace has no way of fitting, either gonna sell it or swap for another cusco one.

what section of the front guards do you guys cut to get clearence for wide neg offset rims, having a look where the scrub its the bottom 6inches or so in front of the wheel?

also what mods need to be done to fit jdm quads and grille?

may have a bride fixed back and front coil overs lined up..

oh and still no pics gah

Cheers, Ben.

Luke - Yep I will be replacing the wheels later on with some 14s, I just think 14s will suit the look I am going for better. Until then the Challengers suit it fine, and certainly fill the guards plus a bit lol

I have a vision for what I want the car to look like, and thats what I'll be doing. With the style I'm going for some people would call it jdm, but all I care is that I like it. To me it will never be jdm, because it is and always will be a shitty aussie ke70. I'm over the people who put some jap rims on their ke70 and call it jdm..

Falken_KE30 - mine looks similar yeh, but the bar is different. Anyone in north Adelaide with a KE70 or AE86, with a strut brace wanna come over and compare?

Kim - more pics soon :P

Tossing up between two engines now after talking to my mate, but either engine features forced induction :D

Cheers, Ben.

the Ke70 and AE68 strut bar is the same, its just you need an adjustable one to fit from a AE86 to a KE70.

yeah mine is an adjustable Cusco brace, I have it adjusted to the max and it wont fit. Its for sale atm selling for $160 as thats what I paid for it less than a month ago. Will fit an AE86

Hey Ben, hope you didn't mind us joking around in the "Bay to Birdwood" thread...

haha Kim and Will I don't care at all, its nothing compared to the shit my mates dish out, plus the ladies loves it hehe

Ooh yeh I may be entering another car in the b2b now, not a Corolla...

lol ben stick to one car dude. I'm really loving it though.

haha cheers Andrew, hows the 20 going? selll too meeee!!

Gave it a good polish last week and its now all nice and shiney, lovin it!

Anyway put on my T18 front bumper today, looks pretty sweet. Took ages to get it lined up though, and was good fun trying to bolt on passengers side with the battery etc in the way

Need brackets for rear bar as the one I bought didnt have any. May just sell that bar as I know where I might be able to get a overrated rear bumper with brackets.

Apart from that and more stickers I havent done alot to her...

Have a pair of 14x8 -6 watanabes lined up when the seller finds a pair of replacement 14x7.5s

Looking for a pair (or set) of 14x8 -10ish MK2s, MK3s or reverse meshies

May have a pair of coilys for the front and whiteline sway bar, searching for some jap ae86 vented discs and rotors

In the process of buying some overrated jdm quadlights and grille

Also I am really tiring of the 4K/5-speed combo...I seriously think my 3K/2-speed is faster lol

Unrelated I may have another project/cruiser on the way, don't know if any of you will be interested but you'll see some pics if I get it lol

Cheers, Ben.

Recieved my new front end crap today

Gonna try and get these in sometime in the next week

Should be picking up a 24mm Whiteline front sway bar this weekend

Getting some more sus gear from A J P S soon

May have just won some rims too :D
