KEhendo Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 hi guys i'm hoping someone on here can help me, the past few days of extreme heat here in melbourne was not kind to my little corolla, as a consequence my brake lights and rear indicators have gone nuts. symptoms: when all the lights and brakes are off, the indicators work fine. when the brakes are on, the brakes pulse slowly and the opposite indicator pulses. with the lights on and the brakes off the tail lights flash at a normal speed and so does the opposite indicator. with the brakes and lights on the entire rear end (both brakes and indicators) light up, no pulsing or flashing. i'm confused as to where it might be because the front indicators and the dash works fine so its not the stalk. it may be the flasher but i don't see how this would effect the brake lights. has anyone had/seen this problem before? it is very perplexing to the other drivers following, i nearly had a falcon run up the back of me! any help is appreciated. cheers, hendo.
