bluterus Posted October 5, 2010 Author Report Posted October 5, 2010 far out nice work. just on those cheap brides, the thing that lets them down is the die in the material. my mate has a pair of them, and the top corners that get sunlight have faded something chronic. so i dunno maybe get some seat covers for them perhaps, or just try and keep them out of the sun. damn nice seat though, a tad uncomfortable after a few hours, but certainly hold you in, and feel very solid in the car. Cheers for the heads up man! She's going to be getting dark as tint and most of the time will be parked undercover so shouldn't be too much of a problem. But I will keep that in mind and make sure I got my sun visor blocking the sun on those hot summer days cause it can still come in through the windscreen. I could see they would get uncomfy after a couple of hours but this is my play car so I couldn't care less I also don't have aircon or power steering. The Corolla will be really impractical but its the performance and handling I want the most. My XR8 I'll drive on 40 degree days with A/C and being comfortable to and from work then the corolla for fun. Quote
ke70dave Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 thats the spirit. those seats are a complete pain in the ass (litterally) to get in and out of, but once your in its fantastic, untill you need to pick up something from the passenger footwell, thats a non event:P we had to get one of those steering wheel quick release things, as my mate coulndt actually get into the car with the steering wheel on! (he is uber tall and faily well built) Quote

I'm not too tall either just 5'10 pretty skinny the seats hold me in just perfect wouldn't want to have any bigger than 32 waist. Quote
