84 Corona 3sge Conversion

if i was installing a 3sge into a st141 corona and the engine was or is currently a 2s what computer would be the bare minimum just to hook everything up, and how much would it fetch

Option A) Bash in the firewall with big hammer and run the factory dizzy- Very cheap.

 

Option B) Aftermarket ECU $1000 - 4000 depending on what ecu you get and whether you can wire it up yourself.

 

Make sure you connect all the 2S sump and oil pickup to the new motor, or you'll run into oil starve issues.

Bill Sherwood's 3SGE is a blacktop BEAMS motor though, so it's already set up for RWD. Most 3SGEs are FWD, and require a fair bit of work (lots of work in the case of 3SGTEs)
