7K needs the sump cut and welded to fit over the cross-member. Also, it's hard to find a 7K (in WA at least).

I've got a 5k motor in my ke20, which used to be originally a 3k, and it bolts straight in. :cool:

i think its not a huge more amount of power(actual horsepower) but the percentage of torque is quite large.
