so i would be able to get a 16v turbo conversion in2 ke20 for $4000 right? u know anyone in sydney that could do it and get it engineered that i could talk 2 about it?

 

$4000 is not going to be enough money to do this conversion :)

 

For everything from brakes diff upgrade suspension upgrade setting up your turbo gear fuel upgrades plus actually fitting the engine into the car(ie wiring mounts etc) $4000 wouldnt even get you the parts

 

And then engineering on top of that

 

Realistic figures if you can do a few things yourself like get the engine mounted in the car install gearbox tailshaft & diff yourself you would be looking at $9,000 - $15,000

 

If you want a drive in drive out situation i reckon $20,000 +

 

These arent small projects and for any restrictive budget, its better to just buy one already done

 

Me, i'm an idiot :D and attempting to do it but trying to do what i can myself to save cost

 

Have a think about what you want out of the car and then make an informed decision

many a person has done many a thing with a ke20 like OKE020 he had a rotory one and then dropped a 2j in it :P (F&$%N legend) he now owns a ca18det KE20

 

and my advise if it's your 1st car man just drive it till it dies save ya money still till you actually have figured out what you want to do with it wheather it be fast street car, strip car, drift car, grip car.

 

Just think about it man!!!!!!, i don't want to seem like an asshole i ask just asmany questions as you are asking every bit of info helps but if you don't have the car get it 1st then drive it till it dies then look at engine conversions and what not
