silverra23 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Depends where you are in Melbourne, but I would try a wreckers first. Shouldnt cost you too much to replace. Would be worth just checking the price from Toyota too, some times parts are weirdly cheap. Quote

MYSTIK[RL] Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) i adjuted my mirror this morning and the bloody thing broke (the glass cracked) . i was wondering where i should go to get a new peice of glass or how much of it needs to be replaced? an help would be appreciated... ae9x? if so probably easier to just got to a wrecker and get a complete unit, i think i paid ~$50 for my electric mirror on my seca, and it would probably be less than that for a manual version. then its only a case of removing the door trim, the adjusting handle on the mirror, then 3 screws and the mirror practically falls off, then its the reverse to install. reTRD Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) try an auto glazing place i work for novus automotive windscreens here in new zealand and we do replacement wing mirrors all the time and we only charge $30NZ so i don't see why an suto glazing place over the ditch sould to be much more than this.
