parrot Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 I have never seen anything like that Blue one before Megat. It's almost like a slightly curvier KE30. Perhaps that's where the lines for the KE30 came from. It's a well known fact Corolla's went downhill after the KE/TE2x series, well at least until the AE86 arrived :( Quote
bernieboy Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) That KE20/TE21 Sprinter sedan is like 'rare as rocking horse s**t'. There was a clean white one for sale on yahoo auctions several years ago. What country is that photo taken? Someone should save that thing. Cheers Bernie-Jay Edited August 14, 2010 by bernieboy Quote

Can someone enlighten the masses on this? Anyway here are some more pics I found... Easy resto this one  Pillars cut - at least they got something straight off it :fuzz: Corolla provides habitat for a variety of flora and fauna Edited August 6, 2010 by TOM Quote

Maybe the next adventure in the Bamboo calendar! Quote
Tally Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 Its a Toyota Sprinter, pretty sure chassis code is still KE20 though as they technically are still a Corolla lol Megat the poster of the pics is the one that found it, he said its too far gone to save, they are rare over there let alone japan so yea... but would be cool for a front end conversion for a aus spec KE2#, just need the bonnet, guards, front apron and grill and your set... TOM Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) Check this shit, apparently an abandoned Toyota dealership in Varosha... Drool... Wonder if they're still there? See article / link below...very interesting!!! http://varosha.multiply.com/ Quote Famagusta developed to the south of the old town, in the area of the relatively new town of Varosha, with its long beach backed by modern hotels.Today Varosha is no more than an empty ghost town. It lies in a UN zone between the Republic of Cyprus and the occupied areas, and is presently occupied by the Turkish Army. As the occupants fled from the fighting of the Turkish invasion, Varosha remained empty as it became part of an eery no-mans-land between makeshift borderlines. Washed clothes were left drying on washing lines - electric lights were left burning for years until the bulbs finally failed. Varosha remains a bargaining counter - a symbol of the madness and the tragedy of those awful summer days of 1974 More... Landcruiser = fence Edited September 3, 2010 by TOM Quote
