Brake Upgrade

hay guys i just wanted to no do i need a brake upgrade for my 1978 ke30 if I'm going to

put a 5k motor in ?????

(my car was originaly a 3k)

 

 

Would it be a good i dear if i put stock ke55 brakes in my ke30!!!

I no ke55 brakes are bigger but do thay make a difference?????

Ke55 (Girlock) calipers will bolt straight onto the mount for the ke30 calipers (Sumitomo) with no mods - Actually you have to use the '55 brake line too.

 

But saying that, they're not going to be that much better. If you want to upgrade, look at something that at least has a bigger disc diametre.

yeah i just got ahold of ra60 strutes calipers and disks out of a mates ke55

i never seen them on the car but.

 

but i keep getting told that thay have alot of camber when fitted????
