RO-11-ER Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 hey guys, planning on getting a ae71 corolla as a project, just interested into whether ae86 coilover suspension is a direct bolt on job or is there some playing around? as i have been told its been done but thought you guys would be the ones to ask :) also what is the best brake conversion? thanks Quote
Roo Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 yes it all bolts in, you will need ae86 steering arms but, 86 brakes adm are solid, jdm are vented so go the jdm brakes unless you want to spend abit more and get the mazda/civic brake setup Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 I think if you want big brakes, you cannot go past the Techno Toy Tuning big brake kit for ae86 struts. 280mm rotors Vented, slotted, drilled Wilwood calipers and a cnc piggyback adapter. The exchange rate is bad at this time but when its good, the kit is very cheap. I think mine cost 1060 dollars shipped from the us when the dollar was very very good. http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=691 Quote
