Budowski Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 You could take a drive down to city dismantlers they have a massive range of wheels that suit yout stud pattern in the toyota, nissan, mitsubishi sections i bet they will let you try a few on. I have starion rims, ive seen sigma turbo rims 15's they look nice also sigma GSR rims 15's arent too bad what about nissan 280zx rims there are 2 types but i bet ull find them at citys if you ask not sure if the Z stuff is 15 but i reckon they would need to be for such a car. Bluebird TRX rims are 15's and have a mesh look but they are 5.5 inch wide but still look nice. Nissan skyline gts and silouette rims are different never seen em on a rolla or even early gts R32 skyline rims have a 4 stud pattern gts-t has 5 stud wont fit. also silvia rims of the early 4 stud variety. Most datsun wreckers have some tuff rims laying around, try nisswreck at wingfield. Google all the rims i mentioned and see what you think. Quote

You can still buy superlites new from performance wheels. There are lots of watanabes floating around, there were some for sale on rollaclub a while back, wasnt sure if they sold. There are Konig rewinds also which look similar and can be had new from techno toy tuning. Other japanese wheels like the ones I posted before are usually imported secondhand but with the 80s cars being popular toys at the moment there are quite a few styles now available new again. I believe you can get new ssr mark 1 2 and 3, new cherry blossoms, new hayashi wheels of all types. Its just a matter of looking for info about these types of wheels and then digging through google. http://www.more-japan.com/SSR_mk3.php http://www.club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pages/Wheel%20Guide.htm http://www.ratdat.com/?page_id=60 30 seconds work /\/\/\/\ ;) keep us posted Quote

slapper Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) don't know how sparkly you want them .... but I reckon these would fit the styling: my humble opinion of course .. not at all influenced by the fact that I'm selling them :P (photoshop them on, I think they look good) Guy I originally got them off (a few years back now) had them on a KE30/50 something They're a bit scuffed up, so not much good if you're after show 'n' shine. If interested, check the ad at KE25 leftovers ad For extra toughness, I considered painting the middle satin black. In the end I decided I was too lazy :( cheers, Slapper Edited January 21, 2009 by slapper Quote
philbey Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Myles, just remember that everyones opinion of what looks right will differ from yours. Just look at plenty of pics, work out what style you want and like RD suggested, scour ebay and post up a wanted thread. Does anyone else know other places in Adelaide with piles of wheels? There used to be a great joint in Melbourne, I'm sure there's one here. Quote
