Rich_Rolla Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Beer - TEDS to be safe or Carlton Cold because it's amazing. Wine- Ew. Spirits - Vodka and redbull cos jager is gross. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) Carlton Cold because it's amazing. You serious? Coldies are to beer what Hyundais are to cars. Cheap and crap (but they try and sell them slightly upmarket), but if you have never had anything else in your life, OK. But the instant you try something else, you're gone in a flash. I hate them with a passion, along with VB. Carlton Draught is bearable if you're in Mexico and none of the pubs have Tooheys on tap, but apart from that I stay well clear. Hiro Protagonist Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 But you are in Mexico. Stupid Canadians...... Quote
JiP Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 You Mexicans!! Listen Omego, you are in Mehico. I saw a funny thing today. I VIC plated car with a tag on the plates reading... VIC - The place to be. Sounds like the owner didn't agree. Otherwise he'd be down there. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 You Mexicans!! Listen Omego, you are in Mehico. I beg to differ....then again, I'd prefer to be in Mexico than the US, especially as far as beer is concerned. Quote
JiP Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 mmm yes, we have Fosters imported from Australia. (Tho not many of us know where that is) Quote
Budowski Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 ewwwww fosters, btw who makes fosters. NO WAIT! i don't want to know. Quote
Trev Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 You better have a good collection of coke. Quote
JiP Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 I have bought your favorite drink already Trev. But I will be buying lots of coke. Its way cheaper than buying a truckload of premixes. Quote

We've got hundreds of them driving around WA :no2: Can't get rid of them... maybe we need to do a bit more work on the rabbit proof fence? :) Edit: Alcohol - I like Jim Beam Small Batch, but if I have to drink a beer I usually get a Boags St George. Xany Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Life is too short to drink shit beer.... to quote a good friend of mine. I personally drink Ted's or Coronas....depends on what i feel like. I've also recently aquired a taste for Carlton Dry. For spirits....anything over 40% alcohol Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Life is too short to drink shit beer.... to quote a good friend of mine. Agreed. My standard is Tooheys Old as a minimum, or something like Lowenbrau if I want a lager. Often experiment with Belgian ales too, Chimay and La Trappe especially (I know La Trappe is Dutch, but it's Belgian Trappist-style). English brown ales for the win too (Newkie Brown = awesome, I'm hankering for one right now) Quote
