nichy Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 hey guys... i have a ke70 87 i think. no the propblem is that i can turn them on and well they wont come on.... but if i push the stem down a little and leave it they will come on.... go ver a bump and they turn off... now the odd thing is ..... they stay on when i have the left indercator on:S and also if i hold the stem back on high beam but not if i push it forwards lol... guessing its not a common problem but if anyone can helpi would be muchly apreciative. maybe if someone has a headlight wiring diagram i can check some stuff or what not.... its just kind of a problem if I'm driving around town at night as I'm just about to get my license back saturday coming and i don't wanna get booked for having y headlights not on when well they would be on haha cheers Nichy Quote
Des Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 (edited) Sounds like the switch on the steering column is buggered. Go to a wreckers or find another combination switch. 87 would be Ae82, Ke70 stopped production in 84 or 85 i think. Edited January 11, 2009 by AE70 Quote
nichy Posted January 11, 2009 Author Report Posted January 11, 2009 i know its a ke70.... mmight be an 84 then lol... to lazy to walk down and check... so a combination switch is what i need? easy to replace? Quote
