ancullen Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 Okay Darwin guys, I've just come home from the latest NAMSC meeting, and it has been confirmed that there will be a race meet on Sunday 24th April. If you intend to compete, then your car will need to pass scrutineering, however this just means that you have to put race-tape (electrical or gaffer tape will do) over your headlights, you mustn't have any leaks, and your brake lights must work. To compete, you MUST have: A Helmet Covered Shoes (Sneakers or similar) Long pants (eg. jeans) Long sleeve shirt If you don't have these, you can't race. Aside from the covered shoes, you don't have to wear these things constantly, just in the events you're competing in. Entry will be $5.00 at the gate, as usual. If you want to compete, it will be about $75 entry fee. If you already have racing insurance, then the entry fee will only be about $25. Quote
ancullen Posted April 22, 2005 Author Report Posted April 22, 2005 Due to gearbox issues, I will not be racing this Sunday. And due to other commitments (engagement party), I won't be able to go and watch either. See you all next times. Quote
