Falken_KE30
T50 is celica and wont bolt to your k motor unless you have a K- T bellhousing.. Other is K50 yeah.. bolt to any K motor. only diff in K motor 5 speeds is the KE70 shifter is more towards the rear.. about 10cm back i think

philbey
I thought the later model K50's (KE70) had slightly different internals, like larger layshaft bearings or something?
JiP
Something would have to be different internally for the shifter position to be further back. But I'm pretty sure that they would be the same ratios.
Hiro Protagonist
Something would have to be different internally for the shifter position to be further back You only need to change the length of the selector rods to move the shifter position....gears/shafts/bearings etc could all stay the same
Raven
As I've done this before, to change the selector position, you only need to swap over the rear extension housing between 5 speed K50's. 4 speed one's wont interchange with the 5 speed variant. BReNt
They're both k50s. The one with the shifter further back is out of a ke70.

Taz_Rx
not true, i don't think it bolts to a 7k but rest yeah Travis Ah no. YOU'RE WRONG. I have a 7k in my wagon with a regular old K50 behind it. Yes the 7k block is wider, but the all the K GB patterns are the same.
