trav_555 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 why did he do it? because he can  saw a hilux like this the other day at auto barn, cept was with pneumatics, and was jumpy, like would have been so uncomfortable still this would be cool to cruise around in for fun id think :jamie: Quote
benzo Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 FUK YEAH!!! haha thats so cool but I want those bumpers on it for my 71! Trav you have obviously never been in a bagged car, they are comfy as to drive in, muchy comfier than 7kg and 5kg springs in a KE70 lol Cheers, Ben. Quote
SLW42 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 thats farking sick i wish my rolla had hydros now haha screw using springs we can all just use hydros haha Quote
trav_555 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 benzo, i had a look at it, it wasnt bagged it had air shocks operated by pneumatics, and when he changed between low and normal height it jumped up from the pressure, unlike bagged/hydrualics Quote
benzo Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 ahk my mistake Still would probably be comfier than stiff springs and shocks in a E7. Cheers, Ben. Quote
JiP Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Dam, Love the wheels and love the hydrolics. I'd love it if my car had it. And DAM!! 4 car batteries in the boot!! Quote

SLO-030 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 *drool*that there is my wet dream you there are twisted. Quote
Xany Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 least it would be easy to work on i suppose..... Quote
Johno Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 least it would be easy to work on i suppose..... Yeah, just raise it up and weld up the cracks on the chassis once a week. No need for a jack, its just lucky he's got the hydraulics.... Quote
Mmm Boost Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I seriously doubt it'd ever be road legal here, its pretty dodgy. Besides which, I doubt a poor little KE70 shell would last that long being twisted like that. Quote
