TRD ke70 Posted October 14, 2010 Author Report Posted October 14, 2010 I must know more! Sounds expensive :D here's the link, wasn't cheap but worth it. Battery Quote
irokin Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Cool thanks for that. So I'm guessing you need to put some kind of special charger between the battery and the alternator or something given the special charging requirements for Li-ions? Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 14, 2010 Author Report Posted October 14, 2010 Not sure, but i'll be checking it out. the car need a new alternator so now is a good idea to replace it. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Today was pretty good, seamed to get lots done. Tony finished the oil cooler lines and degreeing the cams, so the front is almost ready to go together. I made the accelerator bracket up,modified the rocker covers and painted them, then finished off making the thermostat housing blanking plate and a couple of gaskets for the water outlets. Also installed the oil return hose from the head and modified it to take the breather pipes. Carby's were bolted up for the last time hopefully, and then new air cleaners fitted. I'm thinking it'll be ready in a couple of weeks to start!!! Oh, and we should have a new chrome rear bumper by then too!!! 1KG battery Edited October 17, 2010 by TRD ke70 Quote
