Rob,

yip i can take your fuel, just make sure it's labeled, as for picking my brains, no problems, after a few beers you can't shut me up!!!

Dave,

I'll be in touch in the next week about hirstglen,

And thanks for coming over and having a play with the car, it was good to meet you.

As for a master piece, not sure about that, but it's coming a long nicely.

Entry forms are filled out, see you at Hirstglen Chris. Time to do some suspension tuning and driver training. Probably going to put some road tyres on the front, buggered if I'm going to wear out another set of rally tyres out there just by having some fun.

Yeah Dave that would be Tony!!

The steering wheel came from Rallynuts in the UK, not sure what it was worth!!

Well this weekend saw the engine finally been put together.

Had to be careful with the nice shiny Hi-comp pistons, but generally it went together quite well considering the amount of times i had to pull it apart to check clearances. :P

The head is still been ported, but isn't too far away from been finished.

Wisco Forged Hi-comp pistons, Mmmm nice!!

Oi sweet pea, what TRD parts did you need? Have possible reliable link here in nipnip land

:P

:P

Car is looking great, have you got a date that you would like the car done by?

I think we have all the parts we need thanks Teddy, unless you can find some TRD rally shocks!!

But from my understanding they have stop making them.

Trev, I'd love if it was finished by the end of the year, but the way things are going i may be pushing it a bit!!

New engine is freshly painted, along with mounting brackets, TRD engine mounts are on, as are the water pump and alternator bracket.

So we decided to fit the into the car.

Hopefully that'll be where it stays for sometime. :lolcry:

Also got the rebuilt gearbox ready for fitting but now have to wait for the flywheel to be machined, no point putting on a new clutch, pressure plate etc, only to have pull it back off again, so will have to wait a couple of days.

New fuel tank should be here this week as well.
