Daimon J Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 We can just re-set the rear.... make it stiff as a bitch haha Quote
dividee Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 what do u mean by re-setting the rear? does it make it stiffer? what about lowering blocks? just abit curious never dealt with leaf springs before Quote
Sturgey Posted December 25, 2008 Author Report Posted December 25, 2008 (edited) do it then :) to "reset" leafs you take each individual leaf out of your leaf pack and heat them all in a furnace then shape each one, then you group them back together and walla reset leaf ;) Edited December 25, 2008 by Sturgey Quote
SLO-030 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Flip the springs. Lowers it and stiffens it in one go :) Quote
Sturgey Posted December 25, 2008 Author Report Posted December 25, 2008 yeh and ur leafs will be f@$ked in about 2 yrs plus its highly illegal atleast blocks are legal (can have them up to 2") Quote
SLO-030 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 how much you planning on lowering? anything under an inch and id block it, anything over an inch and id just get them reset. Quote
Sturgey Posted December 26, 2008 Author Report Posted December 26, 2008 not gonna touch this for a while lol gonna keep it stockish then when my other one is finished i will work on the van Quote
