Johno Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 I will need a car trailer soon, thought about buying a second hand one for about $1000, use it for what i need, give it a quick paint job then piss it off for a few hundred more than i bought it for... man was i wrong. Couldn't get one for under $4,300. I'm just going to hire one every time i need it. Nice project, keep the pics coming! Quote

Trev Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Whats wrong with checkerplate on ramps? A customer came to pick their car up one day, They had a checker plate ramp trailer and it had being raining that day, As i started to drive the car up (st162 celica) it lost traction and almost slid off the side, The good old bar ramps is the way to go, Dad has them on both towtrucks and his car trailer.
