Hey people, another question. We think we left this clip out when we put the input housing back on however the housing doesnt want to come of, we can spin the housing around a bit and it comes apart from the box about 2 cm however wont come completly off. It came off originally when we took the box apart because all the gears etc were out, but wont now. Whats the trick??

if i remember correctly, you go in though where the clutch lever fork goes and compress the big circlip that holds the bearing to the housing, then the housing should pull off.

hey people, i think we can only get to the clip from inside with the mainshaft out, thats how we removed it. Is the clip important? What exactly does it do, can we do without it?

Can anyone confirm?

Cheers
