alright she runs now

had a guy over and he helped out by swapping parts over to test.

although its only running on 3 cylinders

ended up being the temp sender to the ECU on back of the head not working properly, once the engine is warm the ECU's pre-programmed map and runs and revs beautifully (keeping in mind only 3 cylinders are firing)

 

had a drive of her on "private" property, SO EFFING LOUD and feels like triple the power of my old 4K

alright all these problems were fixed today and NOW ITS RUNNING PERFECT, needs idle adjusted but apart from that its perfect, got enough power to slide out around corners :no2:

 

turned out it needed resistors for the injectors

haha, nah this thing isnt gonna have the diff welded until i have another LSD ready to go in, maybe f or s series,

already has enough grunt to go sideways, dad stomped it turning slightly and the back end skipped out :no2:

alright got some resistors of larger value in now and runs better, will have to get the correct value before running it over the pits.

figured out i will have 1250 within 2 weeks having sold a shitload of stuff and worked some pretty nasty jobs, NO I WAS NOT A PROSTITUTE, although it did cross my mind :)

 

will hopefully have it going by the cruise

the other day i was thinking of how to make my car look more respectable for the pits and i came up with this:

 

not finished yet but

 

here is the engine bay as it stands now, put a few things in corregated tubing but the main wiring strip is stil open for any last minute changes

 

I'm getting one of these as soon as i can afford it :)

the one second from the left was like 800 or something, prices went up from there

 

to do list:

replace all bushes with nolathane replacements

clean the diff of oil

clean up wiring

fix alternator

flush coolant

Make sure that if your changing your suspension soon that you don't get nolathane replacements, cause if you upgrade your suspension chances are your gonna need a different nolathane bush and you will have wasted a heap of time and money.

thats true, well its mainly the steering ones i need to replace as they are cracking but apart from that everything is fine

 

small update, alternators don't work :D

one doesnt charge at all and the other doesnt stop charging and over heats, gonna try make 1 out of the 2 or buy one hell cheap/trade my 2 for a working one

just rang the engineer closest to me and the first guy i rang said $385 for him to do everything :D

this means i can get my car on the road even sooner and have money to spend on other stuff like getting bushes and exhaust done

heres a pretty decent update:

 

had to fit a super-cat dogleg muffler at the rear to remove the bark and managed to droped 30db, also put in 2 to remove about 3-5 db each.

 

got these for free from someone because i repaired his hoist, 2 new and 1 second hand:

 

so close to finished, just need to fix the alternator now

 

still gotta cleen up the wiring a little bit:

alright got my p's and got her insured now so ive got her on the road :y:

got an adm speedo sender to correct the speedo problem just need to fix my fuel gauge, it read from empty to half and thats the full sweep so i do not know whats going on but i think it might have shat itself

i can now beat NA pulsars with ease even when i almost stall it at the lights
