goldke70 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I doubt it very much. Pretty sure you can't have different size rims mate, at least not up here in QLD. I'd do it the right way if I was you otherwise you'll probably end up with more defects to add to the list... GL :jamie: Quote
orangeLJ Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 there is a certain restriction to the difference in size in NSW, off the top of my head, have no clue on the figure, but aslong as the circumference is the same size between the wheels, there shouldn't be a drama. I know ALOT of older cars running different sized wheels (larger rear etc) in both diameter and width with no problems for rego or with the police. Quote
78_7kRolla Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Awwww that's shit. It was sitting so nice too! Yes, you will have to have the same diameter tyres all around to pass the inspection. Cheers Matt. Quote
philbey Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 How is it that some cars run factory different wheel sizes then? I reckon one of the Lotus Esprit's run a larger rear diameter. Quote
orangeLJ Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 the tyre size makes up for it, lower profile tyre on the larger diametre rims aims to achieve a similar rolling circumference. Quote
