hush316 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Hey everybody hows things ok down to business i have been given a ke10 and now its time for fun i have been looking at this forum and there is plenty of excellent ideas and plenty of info but here is my question I have been told that a 7k motor will fit in the car and there is no need to touch the engine mounts as i is the same block i was wondering if this is true Any advice will be appreciated i want to make sure i have all the facts before i start thanks in advance :) Quote
TOYRLA Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 hi mate, that is pretty much true. it would be a very easy convertion, the only thing you may have to do is to change engine mounts over. Change your mounts that are on your motor now to the 7k or other k motor you are going to install. Quote

You need to make engine mounts out of the ones that you have as the block is around 15mm wider and you also have to modify the sump to fit. They are the facts. Matt Quote
hush316 Posted November 17, 2008 Author Report Posted November 17, 2008 so even doing those things this would still be the easiest conversion thanks for the advice keep it coming :) Quote
