Drifting Ke55s

Drifting with leaf springs. Whats the negatives about it? (ke30/55)

As i have heard that setting up a ke30/ke55 for drifting just doesnt really come together well.

 

Is the only bad thing about these 2 cars is that they have leaf springs at the back?

 

If theres more please list them.

There is a guy on here that does drift a ke30, goes quite well from what I have seen in the Tas drift round!

buy the time you start to modify suspension, more powerful motor etc etc, customizing almost everything, it would be cheaper to buy a standard s13 and throw coilovers in it.

 

or maybe an ae86 if you love the toyotas.

not to mention the steering box.

haha thats what i do wait for rain. They just body roll a lot with stock suspension

Or you could just not bother at all and sit at home playing with yourself.

 

Id say go for it if you want to make a 55. It will be more expensive but at least it will be a little more unique :)
