boofhead69 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) Drifting with leaf springs. Whats the negatives about it? (ke30/55) Edited November 17, 2008 by boofhead69 Quote
leigh Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 As i have heard that setting up a ke30/ke55 for drifting just doesnt really come together well. Is the only bad thing about these 2 cars is that they have leaf springs at the back? If theres more please list them. thanks heaps There is a guy on here that does drift a ke30, goes quite well from what I have seen in the Tas drift round! http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=21168 Cheers Leigh Quote
D1doony Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 buy the time you start to modify suspension, more powerful motor etc etc, customizing almost everything, it would be cheaper to buy a standard s13 and throw coilovers in it. or maybe an ae86 if you love the toyotas. not to mention the steering box. Or you could just not bother at all and sit at home playing with yourself. Id say go for it if you want to make a 55. It will be more expensive but at least it will be a little more unique :) Edited November 17, 2008 by Jason Quote
