What Shocks And Springs Are You People Running?

as title says, unsure about what to get? also what kilo spring would you recomend a for something abit firmer yet bareable for street driving.

6.5 and 4.5 is fairly stiff for something as little and light as a ke20, that would be like haveing 8's and 6's in a ke70

even about 5's and 3.75's would be good,

yerr i completely agree with that. it would be way stiff. its just a street car, nothing special.

 

does any body no what sort of free height the spring would need to be to get it sitting nice and low? also whats the spring diameter jsut curiously?

Don't know mutch about spring rates etc but I am running Capri front springs in my ke20. Paul.

Hi mate. Don't know if you are running a rear sway bar or not, but if not I saw one on ebay today Item number: 110309909034 I am running the same one on my 20 & it makes a shitload of difference. Cheers Paul. P.S. Its in NSW.

I just ran cut stockies and standard shocks front. Rear ran softened leaves and standard shocks. Always felt that the rear of a Corolla was too stiff.
