Burnouts (clutch Dropin) As I Call It

I bought a couple of window washer resivours and pumps intending to fit them in the boot and have them spray washing detergent onto the wheels (for use on a mates PRIVATE PROPETY) Wont dirty your car like oil/diesel.

 

Back to the caltrac bars, does anyone know how far apart the you-bolts are on a ke30. I know the you-bolts themselves are 2.25 inches wide, but need to know how far they are apart so i can make the plates for the caltracs. (sorry, may be a tad off topic)

Oh and i also got told that putting lowering blocks

in you car makes axle tramp is this true???

It may not make it tramp as such, but it certainally would not help.

It would make it a hell of a lot worse as it gives the diff housing more movement to swing back and forth.

 

Think of it like an upside-down pendulum....which you effectively make longer.

Another way of saying it is;

 

Moving the axle further away from the leaves it gives it more leverage to twist the leaves resulting in more tramp.

If your lowering your car more than say an inch or so i wouldnt go near blocks. just get them reset or new ones made. If your looking to lower it up to about an inch or so as i wouldnt thing it warrents having them reset and the blocks wouldnt be all that bit so increase in tramp would be minute.

 

NOTE: in my last post i may look like a dumbass for saying you-bolts. But as i just found out Admin has a filter to change the letter>you< as in half of W to "YOU".

Ok i think I'm going to take the blocks out!! and sell them..

 

Ive been told to take the bottom 2 leafs OUT and put them on the TOP

can i do this or will it be a defected????

OH and PEDDERS wanted $350 to rest the leafs no joke!!!
