They'll put up with most things an NA K motor will throw at them if you don't drive like a rock ape.

You'll change the occasional box, but not each time you go out. I had a K40 in my old rally car with the 3K, and I only went through a couple. It was putting out figures (albeit NA) at about what you're quoting.

I smashed my standard gearbox in my corolla blew second gear and done major

 

cog damage to the other gears. so i take it easy until i upgrade. but i am running

 

about 88rwkw with the turbo on the 5k..

Ive heard K40's are stronger than K50's. If this is so, does anyone know what they'll take over the K40?
